What Does Nicole Kidman Fear?

If there's one thing Nicole Kidman fears, it's the feeling of butterflies and their furry legs and multicolored wings crawling all over her vulnerable flesh.

Kidman first developed the phobia growing up in Australia, where she recalled that a giant butterfly or moth would always be lying in wait on her front gate with a butcher knife to murder her when she came home from school. Or something.

"I have tried to get over it ... I walked into the big butterfly cage at the American Museum of Natural History and had the butterflies on me, but that didn't work," she said.

Maybe she's onto something. After all, nobody ever suspects the butterfly.
