Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are the two comedic geniuses who've brought current events to the kids. Can you even remember a time when politics weren’t mad funny?

Both host extremely popular shows on Comedy Central -- Stewart at the helm of ‘The Daily Show With Jon Stewart,’ and Colbert in the cockpit of the satirical ‘The Colbert Report’ (he wouldn’t dare pronounce a ‘t’ at the end of a word, and neither should you). Guests know when they go on either program they’d better be prepared for just about anything.

Although they have seats on opposites sides of the aisle, they cross party lines -- and party may have a more literal meaning here -- to get us all to give a rat's ass about what's going on in the world.

Bottom line: If there isn’t a Stewart-Colbert ticket in 2016, we're finished with elections. You know, unless they tell us not to be.
