LeAnn Rimes’ Rep Throws Shade at Brandi Glanville So She Doesn’t Have To
The Brandi Glanville/LeAnn Rimes feud has felt like a never-ending playground slapfight, with Glanville attacking Rimes and Rimes pretending she's too good to respond yet still doing it anyway -- albeit passive-aggressively.
Now, to further appear the victim, Rimes has tasked her representative with telling Brandi Glanville everything she thinks about her. If only so she can be the girl who didn't run to the tabloids.
In new issues of In Touch and Life & Style, Glanville told the rags, "LeAnn needs to get help. She may be unstable and I am concerned; I want to protect [my children]. I want to make sure she's as healthy as she can be.”
A statement which Rimes' publicist, Marcel Pariseau, felt the need to deny through email to both magazines and to E! News. Just in case.
"Brandi might consider getting some help with her drinking,” he writes. "If you watch her show, read her book and follow her tweets, she is constantly referring to her drinking. Even the title of her book has the word drinking in it. In fact, she was arrested for a DUI. It is a fact that after a night of drinking in Vegas she married her ex-best friend's ex-husband."
He also takes issue with the fact that Rimes' husband (Glanville's ex-husband) Eddie Cibrian hasn't been able to land any jobs, can't support their children, and has been using Rimes as a sugar mama.
As Pariseau explained, "In reality he has two films in the can and recurring [roles] on two television shows. She makes it sound like they are scraping by but read her book where she devotes a whole page to what she does to her face; fillers, Botox, skin treatments, etc ... All of that doesn't come cheap. Eddie pays for all of the boys' expenses like school, sports, clothing, etc."
"Brandi is one of the most narcissistic people around. She never takes responsibility for anything. Basically everyone past and present is at fault but no fault lies with her. Read the description of Narcissistic Personality Disorder and tell me what you think?"
He concluded his rant thusly: "I thought this 'memoir' was to help other women and to empower them? Do her actions and words resonate with the definition of a role model? I think not!"
The tantrum wasn't signed by Rimes and Cibrian, but Brandi clearly thinks it might as well have been, because she publicly responded, “This the most creative and productive Eddie and LeAnn have been in years.”
The takeaway here? It only took Brandi Glanville 13 words to pwn LeAnn's PR guy.
