Brandi Glanville Ran Into LeAnn Rimes + Eddie Cibrian and Made Everyone Uncomfortable [UPDATED]

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, Brandi Glanville decided to make some waves, causing even more drama with her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his current wife LeAnn Rimes.

Good thing Rimes recently swore off this stuff.

This time around (not to be confused with the other 8,000 times), Glanville ran into the duo while they were on a weekend dinner date at a Malibu, Calif. restaurant -- the same eatery where Brandi also happened to be with some friends and her two children with Cibrian.

After awkwardly avoiding one another's presence all evening, the Cibrians stopped by to say goodbye to the kids (who had apparently been running back and forth from table to table all evening in a comedic re-enactment of their current family situation).

According to one witness for Radar Online, the couple was "confronted by Brandi who raised her voice and glass of wine at them. It was so obnoxious that other people at the restaurant turned their heads to see what all the commotion was about."

Yet another source who must have been closer to the scuffle claimed they heard Glanville yell, "Is that a hi or a bye?" The tattletale added that at the time, "Brandi was holding [her son] in her lap when LeAnn and Eddie walked by. It was a very awkward moment and she appeared to cause quite the scene."

Glanville, for her part, immediately took to Twitter to say the whole thing was blown out of proportion and it wasn't all that bad after all, while Rimes blithely ignored the fact that anything had even happened at all.

 
So there you have it -- as usual, everyone's putting the children's needs above their own. Except when they don't. Which is pretty much all the time.

UPDATED: Brandi told RumorFix that the story above was juiced up for drama's sake, saying in part, “[LeAnn and Eddie] came by our table as they left and said ‘Bye’ to the kids and I said ‘Bye’ ... No scene, no drama, no nothing."
