MTV will be airing a documentary series about the ghost-sexing, teeth undergarment-wearing queen of glitter, Kesha. The series, titled 'Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life,' will follow the singer through her two-year meteoric rise to stardom, with her brother Lagan Sebert directing the whole shebang.

Kesha herself explains the series as “revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like. It’s not all glamorous, but it’s all real.”

Sebert decided to make his sister the star of his documentary when he realized news was happening in his own living room. Or sub-basement, where Kesha is kept in suspended animation until she's ready to party.

“I was working as a journalist as my sister was fighting her way to the top of the charts," Sebert elucidates. "I soon realized that the most amazing story was happening in my own family, and it became my mission document it.”

Which he did, over a two year period. His work is helped along by filmmaker Steven Greenstreet, who followed Kesha around and not only caught her recording her new album, 'Warrior,' but tracked her emotional ups and downs, how she deals with fame, and her attempts to gain and maintain relationships.

The series will air on MTV April. If the promo is any indication, it'll be a gloriously hot mess.
