Ellen DeGeneres Dons Cher’s Infamous Sheer Bodysuit … Sort Of [PHOTO]

To promote Cher appearing on her show on May 2, Ellen DeGeneres shared a photo of herself "dressed" in the infamous sheer bodysuit Cher wore in her 'If I Could Turn Back Time' video. With a little help from Photoshop, of course.

The photo was captioned with the hilarious, "I had to change my outfit before the show. Cher and I were wearing the same thing."

Double the Cher, double the fun!

We love Ellen's jaunty sailor's hat and the fact that her adoring face (photoshopped onto a duplicate Cher) is gazing so blissfully at her guest.

The outfit was made famous in the 1989 music video, in which Cher performed for sailors on-board the battleship USS Missouri, straddling a canyon and showing off her tattooed derriere. Tame as it seems by today's standards, it was deemed so racy at the time that MTV banned the video when it was released.

Cher most recently wore the "scandalous" outfit to the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, where she presented an award to a meat-dress-clad Lady Gaga.

Cher later took to Twitter to joke about her 'Ellen' appearance (which she made alongside her mom, who just released an album) and Ellen responded in kind.
