Sofia Vergara Is Freezing Her Genetically-Perfect Eggs for Future Use
How do you like your eggs? Scrambled? Over easy? No? Okay, how about frozen?
Seems that's how Sofia Vergara likes hers, because she's the latest celebrity to announce she wants to ensure her oven is ready for bun-making -- whenever she decides to knead the dough. So to speak.
The 'Modern Family' bombshell began a lunchtime interview for the April edition of Vogue by saying, "I have to be careful what I eat because they're freezing my eggs!"
After adding she's currently undergoing hormone injections and a pill regimen in preparation for the procedure, she remarked, "They want to get as many eggs as they can because usually you produce them but they're not good. They have to be perfect, perfect, perfect ones. My boyfriend is 37, younger than me, never had kids. So."
For the record, Vergara is 40 and already has a 21-year-old son -- thus redefining MILF and setting the bar so high that few could launch over it.
Last week, Jennifer Love Hewitt said she was mulling creating some eggsicles, too, and we can't help but wonder if this will be the next Hollywood trend ala Kabbalah bracelets or bizarre tattoos.
But it's hard to blame Sofia for wanting to preserve her genes. Let's just hope she eventually has a girl -- because that 32F rack of hers would look awfully weird on a boy.
