Seems new celebrity pregnancies are announced every week. But if you're waiting for Portia de Rossi to be one of them, don't bother -- because she and wife Ellen DeGeneres like their childfree lives just as they are, thanks.

The gorgeous 40-year-old actress, who's on the cover of the latest issue of Out, opened up about not starting a family with DeGeneres, her spouse of nearly five years.

"There comes some pressure in your mid-30s, and you think, ‘Am I going to have kids so I don't miss out on something that other people really seem to love?’" Portia told the magazine.

And after asking herself if she "genuinely" wanted children with her "whole heart," the answer simply came back negative -- and Ellen concurred.

"You have to really want to have kids, and neither of us did," Portia said. "So it's just going to be me and Ellen and no babies."

And with Ellen, 55, busy with her popular eponymous talk show and the upcoming 'Finding Dory,' and Portia gearing up for a new season of 'Arrested Development,' who really has the time?

“We’ve settled into happily married life,” de Rossi says. “We really support each other in whatever we’re doing and we’re incredibly happy, which is why you don’t see us in the press so much. There’s no drama to report.”

"We’re the best of friends and married life is blissful, it really is. I’ve never been happier than I am right now.”

Kudos to a celebrity couple who can, and are, making it work without the pitter-patter of tiny feet.
