Miguel Kicking a Fan in the Face at the Billboard Awards Quickly Becomes a Meme [PHOTOS, GIFS, VIDEO]

R&B singer Miguel was performing 'Adorn' at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night when he got super into the moment, leapt over the crowd between two stages, and wound up inadvertently kicking a girl in the face. (Don't you hate it when that happens?)

And then, of course, the interwebz got involved. And turned it into something pretty awesome.

Miguel later tweeted that the girl in question was okay and simply needed some ice for her injured arm, and in a tweet that's since been deleted, he blamed that demonic force known as rock and or roll for his actions, writing, "Rockandrollmademedoit."

Not only is she okay, she had a damned good sense of humor about it (or maybe she's already spoken to a lawyer):
