LeAnn Rimes + Eddie Cibrian Are Still Talking About That Autobiographical Sitcom They Want to Make
In their never-ending attempts to stay relevant (which includes reminding us about their years-old extra-marital affairs), LeAnn Rimes and her husband Eddie Cibrian are looking to get a sitcom made about their lives.
They've been talking about it since April, but no network thus far has bitten -- so it was apparently time for LeAnn to bring it up again.
As Rimes told People, "We're doing a TV show based on our reality. We'll take things out of our lives and elaborate them and make them funny. People have been laughing at us -- we want them to laugh with us!"
"For some reason, everyone is so interested in our lives but they don't actually know about them," Rimes expanded. "What they read is what they see. We want to be able to take control of our lives again so we want to do a show about us, about our lives, but scripted."
So the best way to see what their lives are really like is to watch a scripted version? We're confused.
Making the media rounds, Rimes told Us Weekly that "we've been talking about a show" -- but who the other half of the "we" is remains a mystery.
She also hopes that the series would help clear up any misconceptions about her and her husband's relationship, even though she's done plenty of talking about it herself.
Hey, ABC, what are you waiting for? It's gotta be better than 'Splash.'
