Young Billy Idol's signature look was spiky blonde hair, a whole lot of leather and a perma-snarl on his British face (which isn't a whole lot different from now). Inspired by his look was a certain vampire on 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' who spent the '70s looking like his, well, idol.

Billy Idol may be older but he certainly hasn't lost his iconic style, appearing as himself in the '90s hit 'The Wedding Singer' and continuing to tour and delight fans with classic hits like 'White Wedding,' 'Rebel Yell' and 'Dancing With Myself.'

Spike (played by James Marsters) was a vampire who apparently spent his time in the '70s bleaching his hair and refusing to style his locks any other way even as the decades progressed. After starring on 'Buffy' and the spin-off show 'Angel,' Marsters went on to appear in the 'Doctor Who' spin-off 'Torchwood' and the 'Battlestar Galactica'-spawned 'Caprica.' We're sensing a trend here.
