Victoria Beckham Style Breakdown – What’s Right, What’s Wrong + How to Fix It

Victoria Beckham is known for three things -- her sense of style, her sky high heels and her permascowl. She wears and designs amazing attire, is never seen in flats and never, ever cracks a smile. Celebs love her clothes. We love her clothes. She has an innate and inherent sense of what looks good on the female body.

But she's not flawless with fashion --even though she comes close. We don't love her in menswear. Who's she kidding, right?

What's Right:

This fitted tweed shift and bootie/liquid leggings hybrid was the ultimate combo of glam, sexy and chic. Posh ushered in the trend of reverse platforms -- no heel in the back in favor of the ball of the foot. Un-for-get-able.

The former Spice Girl showed off her lithe frame in this grey, belted column gown. It was so simple but it was also a wowza moment.

An LBD is not just an LBD when VB dons it! Her twirly skirt was divine.

Look at this -- the queen bees of fashion! Vogue editress Anna Wintour posed with VB, who she reportedly refuses to put on the cover of the mag -- which would further and fully legitimize an already legit fashion career. Posh was wearing an orange frock of her own design, and while this is not a hue every woman wants to or even can pull off, the cut and the shape was divine.

What's Wrong:

The cobalt blue skirt is right now, but the loose blouse and long length weren't "her." This is too ladies-who-lunch, and VB doesn't lunch.

This Maison Martin Margiela pantsuit with a flared leg and a heart-shaped bodice was meh on her. It doesn't show the shape she's worked so hard for.

How to Fix It:

Would it kill her to crack a smile every once in a while? The permascowl ages her and she looks so pursed and angry all the time.

And jeans every once in a while are okay for a mom of four.

And so is casual wear, like this black slip dress for an outside sporting event.

We also recommend staying away from loose, sack-like dresses in shiny material. She is a skinny Minnie -- may as well show it off.
