Victoria Beckham Quits the Spice Girls. In Other News, the Spice Girls Are Still a Thing.

In news we all thought happened a decade ago, Victoria Beckham has quit the Spice Girls.

A rep for Beckham told The Daily Mail, "Victoria has made no secret of the fact her singing days are over, with a hugely successful business and a growing family, she loved her time as a spice girl and will always wish the other girls well in whatever they choose to do."

Exactly. She's made no secret about it (and based on the Girls' individual solos, even in their heyday, it's not like Beckham sang much to begin with). So why is this a big deal all of a sudden?

Well, because the other Spices -- Ginger, Scary, Sporty and Baby -- want Posh back on their rack.

"The girls, particularly Geri, think there is so much more that they can achieve, and they know that their fans still want to see them perform," a source revealed. "In an ideal world Victoria would be part of their plan, but she just won’t budge."

We don't blame her. If we were a zillionaire with a fashion line, kids and David Beckham attached to our hip, we wouldn't budge either.
