Maybe we expected Christian Slater to grow a little more after rising to prominence in the '80s as the dynamite-loving megalomaniac villain of 'Heathers,' but sadly, Mother Nature had other plans.

Despite joining Robin Hood and his merry men, interviewing vampires and marrying a prostitute, Slater never quite grew into the shoes we expected him to fill.

We mean this both literally and figuratively. Sorry, dude.
