That’s James Franco’s Crib
James Franco bought this pad for the affordable -- by L.A. standards -- price of $775,000 from Emmy-winning costume designer Katherine Jane "Janie" Bryant (if you love the duds on 'Mad Men,' you have her to thank).
The property has about 1,500 square feet and two units: a main house with two bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms, and a guesthouse with one bedroom and one bath. According to Real Estalker, Franco is currently living in the first pad while he fixes up the joint to eventually flip.
The original listing cited saltillo tile and wood floors, a massive fireplace in the master bedroom, and a "charming covered veranda with canyon views." And if you look closely at the peach-walled home office, you'll see Bryant's Emmy on a shelf above the desk.
