Lewis grew up and got into music, starting the band Rilo Kiley with a few friends and her then-boyfriend Blake Sennett -- another former child star whom you might remember from the Nickelodeon show 'Salute Your Shorts.' The group formed in 1998 and released five albums before disbanding in 2011.

Lewis went on to other projects, including an album with the Watson Twins, a solo record, and a duet project released under the name Jenny & Johnny.
