While everyone was fawning over Jonathan Taylor Thomas, they seem to have forgotten our favorite 'Home Improvement' star: Taran Noah Smith. We've got the lowdown on what he's been up to since the show ended.

Then:

Taran Noah Smith played youngest son Mark on the hit '90s sitcom. As the baby of the family, Mark was more precocious and definitely the sweeter of the three -- Randy was the middle child and troublemaker, and Brad was the oldest one and the jock, but Mark was the smallest, so he was always more sensitive (something that became more evident in his teen years when he went through an unforgettably weird goth phase).

When the show ended, Taran Noah Smith was just 16 years old. He spent most of his childhood and formative years on television, and when he turned 18, he gained control of his earnings from his parents and decided to quit acting.

When he was just 17, he married Heidi Van Pelt, a woman 16 years his senior. In 2005, they started a non-dairy cheese company and restaurant called Playfood, specializing in vegan and organic foods, which they still co-own even though they divorced in 2007.

Smith has been mostly doing okay, though last year he was busted for a DUI and possession of marijuana. He still has no plans to return to acting.
