Matthew Broderick – Celebrities Who Turned 50 in 2012

'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' star Matthew Broderick celebrated his 50th on Mar. 21 with a surprise party thrown by wife Sarah Jessica Parker, at which she and the couple's 9-year-old son serenaded the birthday boy as a gift.

And this year, the vet of stage and screen appeared in not one but two hit television sitcoms: He reprised his role as depressed government employee Cooter Burger on '30 Rock,' and had a feature spot on 'Modern Family' as a gay man looking to get back in the dating saddle.

And, as usual, hilarity ensued.
