Best + Worst Dressed

The 65th annual Emmys (which aired on Sept. 22) boasted plenty of stunning outfits on the bodies of celebs as they pranced the red carpet. There were also plenty of fashion clunkers, which bummed us out, since some of our favorite stars (and their stylists) were out of character and didn't choose wisely.

It was "anything goes" on the star-studded, dripping-with-couture red carpet at the 65th annual Emmys (Sept. 22). The carpet teemed with some of the prettiest, fanciest dresses, yet there were just as many subdued but stylish frocks. With Paris Fashion Week, the BET Awards and other assorted events on the calendar this week, fashion was hoppin'. The 2013 BET Awards always invite a mix of casual and dressy attire, and since the ceremony celebrates the best in urban music, stylish streetwear is often the norm. Last night's (June 30) event boasted a mix of boobs, birds and some questionable attire -- and of course a few home runs.

This week's best ensembles were dresses --in leather and sequins, even in summer -- while the worst were largely menswear mishaps. The Billboard Music Awards swarmed Las Vegas on Sunday night (May 19), and due to the not-exactly-formal nature of the event, the red carpet ensembles were a mix of couture gowns and more casual, low-key frocks. Here's our recap of the evening's best -- and there were quite a few. It was refreshing to see so many dresses we'd sever a limb to own.

The weather is getting warmer, so celebs are showing more skin as they dress for red carpet events. As is the standard, we had some stunners (Kate Beckinsale, like, whoa) and some stinkers (Diane Kruger, with too-loud pants) -- and saw lots of skin, be it bare or peeking out from fabric in both good and bad ways.
