The cast of the feel-good 1996 film 'Matilda' (based on the Roald Dahl book of the same name) had an expansive reunion last weekend. We don't know why and we don't care why -- we're just happy it happened.

Matilda herself, Mara Wilson, who has since retired from acting but maintains a wickedly cool Twitter feed, posted an adorable and feel-inducing photo on her Facebook page. And really, no caption was needed.

Left to right in the back row: Donna Spangler (Million $ Sticky Showgirl), Brian Levinson (Michael), Pam Ferris (Mrs. Trunchbull), Jimmy Karz (Bruce Bogtrotter), and Leor Livneh Hackel (Julius Rottwinkle).

And in the front row: Jacqueline Steiger (Amanda Thripp), Rhea Perlman (Mrs. Wormwood), Mara Wilson (Matilda), Kiami Davael (Lavender), Sara Magdalin (four-year-old Matilda), Danny DeVito (Mr. Wormwood), and Embeth Davidtz (Miss Honey).

Yup, even Danny DeVito and wife Rhea Perlman -- who split last year but recently reunited -- were at the get-together. Which makes this photo doubly great.

'Matilda' has experienced a bit of resurgence lately, with the book-turned-movie getting its own Broadway musical titled the super catchy 'Matilda: the Musical.'
