Lady Gaga Named Godmother to Elton John’s Second Son

In 2010, Elton John and his husband David Furnish welcomed their first son, Zachary, and the couple chose Lady Gaga as his godmother (admit it, if you knew her, you would too).

This year there was another addition to the family, little Elijah -- and Mother Monster will be godmother to that tot as well.

“She’s a great role model. She’s young. She’s been a great godmother to Zachary,” Elton told Extra.

As expected, Gaga has taken her role seriously, as Elton also recalls when she once cared for Zachary in Las Vegas. "She was already dressed to go to [a] show, and she was sitting there and she bathed him, and she was like dressed like Audrey Hepburn .. and she fed him," he said.

“We’re all bonkers in this business," he added, "but we’re human beings at the same time."

In 2011, Lady G gushed about her new godmother duties, telling ITV's 'Daybreak' (via Entertainmentwise), "Zachary is a beautiful, beautiful boy and I feel very honored to be invited into their family."
