Dolly Parton Pretty Much Apologizes For Not Being a Lesbian

Much like besties Oprah and Gayle, Dolly Parton and her gal pal Judy Ogle have been suspected of being super secretive closeted lesbians.

A rumor that's completely untrue, at least according to Parton and her impressive rack. Which, by the way, is also completely heterosexual.

During a 'Nightline' interview, the country singer, who's been married to a man for nearly half a century, was asked about her supposed clandestine affair with her BFF.

"Judy and I have been best friends since we were like in the third and fourth grade,” Parton explained, “We still just have a great friendship and relationship and I love her as much as I love anybody in the whole world, but we're not romantically involved."

But Parton -- who has a large gay fan base -- doesn't seem to mind the whispers at all, adding, “[People] think that you just can't be that close to somebody."

Oprah and Dolly have since bonded over all the sexual orientation speculation, so of course you know what that means: Let the "Oprah is gay for Dolly!" tabloid headlines blare.
