The 2013 Emmys saw as many red carpet clunkers as they did show-stoppers. It reminded us of some of the biggest Emmy head-scratchers of all time, and we're talking dresses and outfits, not winners or nominees. We were left wondering what these stars -- and their stylists -- were thinking.

The 2013 Emmys have come and gone, and with 'em, all the gorgeous gowns we are still talking about. It inspired StarCrush to take a look back at some of our favorite Emmy dresses of all time, like Jennifer Aniston's Grecian goddess Chanel column sheath (2004), Sarah Jessica Parker's fluffy pink Chanel confection (2003) and Eva Longoria's black Robert Rodriguez stunner (2010).

The 65th annual Emmys (which aired on Sept. 22) boasted plenty of stunning outfits on the bodies of celebs as they pranced the red carpet. There were also plenty of fashion clunkers, which bummed us out, since some of our favorite stars (and their stylists) were out of character and didn't choose wisely.

It was "anything goes" on the star-studded, dripping-with-couture red carpet at the 65th annual Emmys (Sept. 22). The carpet teemed with some of the prettiest, fanciest dresses, yet there were just as many subdued but stylish frocks.
