Skai Jackson Is Pregnant, Former Disney Star ‘Thrilled’ for Next Chapter in Her Life

Skai Jackson is excited for her next big role — Mom! 

The former Disney star confirmed to People that she is expecting her first baby. Jackson's boyfriend, and father of the unborn child, has not yet been publicly identified. 

“I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!” the 22-year-old told the outlet. 

The news comes after the Jessie alum was arrested for domestic battery after a public fight with her boyfriend in August.

As the Bunk'd  star preps for motherhood, she previously praised her own mom, Kiya Cole, for being a strong role model.

"She's always kept me humble. I feel like when you have that great support system, you cannot go wrong," she told E! News earlier this year. 

Jackson also reflected on her time as a child star, noting that she will always cherish those years.

"For me, I had a great experience. I got to learn a lot being in the industry at a young age, being able to have opportunities I feel like probably the average kid wouldn't be able to," she added.

Jackson's upcoming film The Man in the White Van will be released in theaters on Dec. 13, which she promoted this year at Comic Con.
