Paris Jackson Wrote a Suicide Note Before Cutting Herself With a Meat Cleaver
New details are coming in after it was revealed and confirmed today that 15-year-old Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late Michael Jackson, was hospitalized following a suicide attempt.
Disturbing reports now indicate that Jackson wrote and left a suicide note before using a meat cleaver to cut herself.
A source close to the family says that Paris wisely called a suicide hotline, and a counselor there was alarmed enough to contact 911. Jackson was later taken to a hospital to deal with the slice on her right forearm (which received "numerous stitches") and is currently under a 72-hour psychiatric hold.
In addition to cutting herself, the teenager also reportedly downed a high number of Motrin pills. The contents of the note she wrote have not yet been disclosed.
Some say Paris was upset last night because she was forbidden from attending a Marilyn Manson concert, but the family lawyer hinted her despair could have something to do with the 4-year anniversary of her father's death coming up on June 25.
"Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you," Perry Sanders told TMZ.
Added Jackson brothers Jackie, Marlon and Tito, "Thank you for the outpouring of concern and support for Paris. She is safe and doing fine. We truly appreciate you respecting our family privacy at this time."
