One fourth of the original founding girl-group members of Destiny's Child, LaTavia Roberson, gave birth to her first child, a girl, on Wednesday (Aug. 21).

Roberson shared her excitement of her new baby girl on Twitter, by showing a photo of a gender-revealing balloon:

Congrats to the new momma!

If the 31-year-old artist's name isn't ringing any bells, she was with the group even before they were even known as Destiny's Child, back when they are named Girl's Tyme, had six members and performed on the national talent show 'Star Search.'

Roberson stayed around long enough to record Destiny's Child's first album (which was self-titled and included their first hit, 'No, No No') and was also there to rap on 'The Writing's on the Wall.'

Unfortunately, she and LeToya Luckett -- another original member -- had a problem with being managed by Beyonce's dad, Matthew, who they believed paid his daughter and Kelly Rowland more.

They both left, only to be replaced by Michelle Williams. Basically, that Destiny's Child reunion at the 2013 Super Bowl wasn't really an original Destiny's Child reunion.

Roberson's first born was interestingly enough due on Queen Bey's birthday (Sept. 4) but blessedly arrived early.
