Bad news for creeps who wanted to bid on Halle Berry's used nail clippers: They ain't hers. But they are, however, Gabriel Aubry's.

TMZ reports that Berry sicced her attorneys on a Canadian auction that claimed to be selling Berry-tainted items like a hairbrush, sofa and zebra-skin rug -- because none of the stuff actually belonged to Berry.

Her camp shot a cease and desist letter to the Montreal Auction House, which was slated to start bidding Monday (July 8) on the items.

The junk was instead from Berry's ex and baby daddy, Aubry. Once auctioneers got wind of that, well, the whole thing was postponed.

The auction for Aubry's goods, which likely won't boast as big price tags as the Oscar winner's, is now slated for July 21.
