Demi Lovato Playing Santana's Love Interest on 'Glee'

New details have emerged on songstress Demi Lovato's upcoming role on 'Glee,' and it's now been confirmed that she will be playing a love interest to the character Santana, played by Naya Rivera.

MTV over the weekend, saying that the two duet on a

Beatles song together upon first meeting -- which would certainly hint that Lovato's arc starts up in the first two Beatles-centric season five episodes.

Lovato will be playing Dani (a struggling artist pal of Santana and Rachel, played by Lea Michele) in a storyline which will last a full six episodes. It begins filming some time this week.
