Shedeur Sanders handled not being picked in the first round of the NFL Draft with grace.

The son of legendary athlete Deion Sanders threw a lavish soiree in the hope of hearing his name.

However, surrounded by family and friends, the Colorado Buffaloes QB's name was never called as the first round concluded.

After the bash, Deion shared a video on Instagram of his disappointed son speaking to the partygoers.

"We all didn't expect this, of course. But, I feel like with God, anything's possible, everything's possible. I don't feel like this happened, you know, for no reason," Shedeur said.

Not being chosen in the first round has only motivated the quarterback to work harder.

"All this is of course fuel to the fire and under no circumstance we all know this shouldn't have happened, but we understand we on to bigger and better things," the 23-year-old told the crowd.

Shedeur ended his speech on a high note as he looks forward to his Buffaloes jersey being retired alongside former teammate and No. 2 pick Travis Hunter.

"Tomorrow's the day, we going to be happy regardless. Legendary," he added.

Former NBA star Dwyane Wade praised his grace, commenting, "That’s how you handle things."

Other than Shedeur, Deion has two other children with his second wife, Pilar Biggers-Sanders: Son Shilo, 25, and daughter Shelomi, 21.

He also shares two children with his previous wife, Carolyn Chambers: daughter Deiondra, 33, and son Deion Jr., 31.
