Amber Heard Doesn’t Mind Being Johnny Depp’s Girlfriend, But She’s an ‘Artist’ First

While neither of them have really talked about it publicly, it's pretty common knowledge by now that Johnny Depp and actress Amber Heard are a thing. But she'd really rather you didn't mention it.

"It’s not part of my professional life. I want to be an artist," the 'Paranoia' star told September's Flare Magazine (via the Daily Mail). "I don’t want to be a celebrity."

"Can you ever imagine yourself in a situation like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, where the world feels like they have a stake in your private life?" she mused. "I would never want it."

But that doesn't mean the 27-year-old actress (whose paramours are usually other women) won't be seen in public with her very famous boyfriend.

"I guess I could not hold hands with who I want to, but what kind of life would that be? I don’t want to change just because people are watching. I’ve always been the person who says what she wants."
