WTF Is She Wearing: Rihanna at the ‘Unapologetic’ Album Launch Party [PHOTOS]

Normally, if we said, "Rihanna wore an all-black, all-leather ensemble by Damir Doma, paired with Manolo Blahnik ankle strap heels," you'd probably assume it was tight, shiny and showed off a lot of skin, right?

Well, you couldn't be more wrong. Because Rihanna basically cut up a trash bag and wore it to her Nov. 20 'Unapologetic' album launch party in New York.

While she routinely goes topless in front of cameras, this time she covered up -- and in truly unflattering fashion. The boxy top, baggy capri-length shorts with pockets and leather wrap hat make her look like a member of TLC circa 1993.

This outfit swallows her whole. It's unflattering, shapeless and just plain fugly. Maybe she was so jetlagged from the 777 tour debacle (at least for the journalists who were stuffed on planes and not allowed to see or speak to her) that she just wanted to slip into something comfortable. And heinous.

Nothing, not even the singer's natural beauty, can save this travesty.

The necklace, though, is high-end. It's reportedly a vintage Chanel piece, and that isn't cheap or unfashionable (nothing Chanel ever is). In fact, it's this mess of an outfit's sole high point -- even with its little gun charm, which just completes the 'hood look RiRi is trying to rock.
