Actress Jamie Lee Curtis got into a nasty car accident yesterday (Aug. 1) -- one that was bad enough that she had to be taken away in an ambulance. But not before pal Jodie Foster was able to swoop in like Superman to come to her aid. Yes, this is a real thing that actually happened.

Yeah, we know -- this one was kind of easy. Jodie Foster is the lady selling this Hollywood Hills manse, because who needs multiple California homes when you could have an additional $6.4 million instead?

"Mel Gibson, you might be the father!" is how the opening of this article would sound if announced by Maury Povich. And it's pretty fitting considering rumors are swirling that Gibson may in fact be the biological daddy of pal Jodie Foster's two boys. If you want to take a break now and curl up in the fetal position, it's cool. We'll wait.

This year, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association honored Jodie Foster with their Cecille B. DeMille award for her lifetime of achievement on the big and small screens. And during her acceptance speech, she set the interwebz ablaze when she took the opportunity to speak publicly - in a slightly dodgy way - about her oft-suspected sexual orientation.

Jodie Foster was awarded the Cecil B. DeMille award at the 2013 Golden Globes, making her the youngest recipient of the award in Golden Globes history. But it wasn't her age that took center stage tonight (Jan. 13), it was her speech, during which she pretty much admitted what's been an open secret for years: She's gay.
