Sounds like actress Brooke Shields may be joining the daytime talk show 'The View' following an announcement that long-running host Joy Behar is leaving. And despite previous stories stating otherwise, controversial co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck may not be going anywhere after all.

Brooke Shields, seen here in 2006, was a special guest star along with Edie Falco to kick-off Ariel Dofman's play 'Speak Truth to the Power' -- and the actress/model decided to attend the event sans makeup. Models without makeup, making the average citizen feel better since forever.

By all accounts, Brooke Shields is a highly intelligent woman. But this quote, said when she was just 16 and a spokesperson for a federal anti-smoking campaign, has haunted her for decades.
