Paging Jim Cramer: Your next boss might be Jeff Bezos. Because, of course, he’s considering expanding his media empire.

The Amazon founder and space cowboy is reportedly eyeing a new acquisition — and this time, it’s not a yacht, a rocket, or a $500 million mansion.

According to The New York Post, Bezos has been quietly exploring a purchase of CNBC, home to Squawk Box, Closing Bell, and the chaos that is Mad Money with Jim Cramer.

The 61-year-old billionaire reportedly sees the business network — often overshadowed by MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News — as a sleek, “neutral” addition to his growing media portfolio.

He already owns The Washington Post and, of course, Amazon Prime.

After a few rocky years with the Post (think: layoffs, losses, and journalists pushing back on his pro-capitalist rebrand), CNBC might feel like a calmer, cleaner fit.

Basic (Cable), But Make It Work

Comcast plans to spin off its cable properties — CNBC, MSNBC, E!, and USA Network — into a new publicly traded company called Versant by the end of 2025. CNBC is expected to be the crown jewel in that lineup.

So what’s a $241 billion man to do? Apparently, make some quiet calls and start kicking the tires.

(What’s more on-brand for Bezos than owning both your Amazon shopping cart and your financial news source?)

Versant reportedly pulled in $7 billion in revenue last year. For Bezos? That’s basically a rounding error.

From Billion-Dollar Buys to Billionaire Vows

This boardroom buzz comes just weeks after Bezos tied the knot with longtime partner Lauren Sánchez in Venice, Italy.

Because if you’re looking to lock down a media network, you might as well lock down your fiancée, too.

Naturally, the wedding was extra AF. Held on the island of San Giorgio, the ceremony featured Italian singer Matteo Bocelli (yes, that Bocelli’s son) performing Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”

It was pure Amazon Prime romance — ad-free obviously.

Amazon TV?

No deal is done — yet. CNBC is still metaphorically sitting in Bezos’ cart, waiting for a discount code or the energy to hit 'Buy Now. '

But if he does go through with it? We’re looking at a future where you can stock up on oat milk, binge The Boys, check your portfolio, and maybe even livestream your wedding… all without leaving the Bezosverse.

TBH, not mad about it.
