Tyson and Paul have been shading each other for months leading up to the fight, and on Thursday (Nov. 15), the boxing legend reached his boiling point and slapped the YouTuber.

During the final stare-down before the two clash, Paul appeared to lunge towards the former heavyweight champion, causing him to unleash a mighty blow to Paul's face.

The two were quickly separated by security as Paul antagonized Tyson.

Although the slap appeared to come out of nowhere, Tyson told The Post that it was warranted.

"I was in my socks and he had on shoes. He stepped on my toe because he is a f--king a--hole. I wanted to think it happened by accident. But now I think it may have happened on purpose," he told the outlet.

"I was in a lot of pain. I had to reciprocate," Tyson added.

Paul reportedly responded to the slap by saying that Tyson "hits like a b--ch," and that "he must die."
