Ellen Pompeo is ready for her new TV era!

The actress, most prominently known for portraying Meredith Grey in ABC's long-running medical drama Grey's Anatomy, is ditching the scrubs for deception in the limited series Good American Family.

Pompeo portrays Kristine Barnett in the Hulu series inspired by the stories and rumors surrounding the real-life adoption of Natalia Grace.

Kristine and her husband Michael Barnett (Mark Duplass) are eager to adopt seven-year-old Grace, who has a rare form of dwarfism.

The new mom eventually becomes suspicious of the young girl's identity and fears for her safety.

"As they begin to raise her [Grace] alongside their three biological children, mystery emerges around her age and background, and they slowly start to suspect she may not be who she says she is," the series' synopsis reads.

"As they defend their family from the daughter they’ve grown to believe is a threat, she fights her own battle to confront her past and what her future holds, in a showdown that ultimately plays out in the tabloids and the courtroom," the description continues.

Natalia Grace's story has baffled audiences for years as varying accusations have been thrown around by Grace and her many adoptive families.

Her life was recently explored in three seasons of ID's The Curious Case of Natalia Grace.

Grace was born in 2003 and left Ukraine in 2008. She was adopted by Dyan and Gary Ciccone the same year.

In 2010, she was adopted by the Barnett family until they allegedly abandoned her in 2013.

Grace went on to live with pastor Antwon Mans, his wife Cynthia, and their 10 children, before escaping in the middle of the night in 2023 to live with the DePaul family.

Two episodes of Good American Family premieres March 19 on Hulu, followed by weekly releases.
