What Does Robert De Niro Fear?

Plenty of people are afraid of the dentist, and one of them just happens to be Robert De Niro.

We can understand his phobia. Their waiting rooms are full of old magazines, they yell at you for not flossing and, when you leave, you're generally either drooling or in pain. Or both.

And if 'Little Shop of Horrors' is to be believed, dentists enjoy inflicting torture on their patients while singing and dancing about it.

But maybe De Niro fears them because he once paid a dentist $20K to grind his teeth down so he could play a criminal.
