When Rihanna is away, Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran will play.

Brown confirmed in a radio interview that he split from the 'Stay' songstress, then he was spotted partying with his ex-girlfriend and constant sidepiece Tran for his birthday.

Who needs to make decisions when you've got two hot girls who put your happiness above their own? You do you, Breezy.

Asked how he had planned on celebrating his 24th birthday, Brown said he wasn't sharing the experience with Rihanna, who is hard at work on her Diamonds world tour (when she's not canceling dates).

"I'ma do it solo," Brown said. "I mean, at the end of the day shawty (Rihanna) doing her own thing, she's on the road … it's always gonna be love … I'm a grown man, just gotta fast forward."

Translation: "While she's gone, I'm doing whatever I want."

Not that she'd be happy about that. When his host inquired how he got RiRi to agree to what's essentially an open relationship while she's gone, he replied bluntly, "Tell me when you find out, 'cause I still have yet to!"

As for his relationship status with the Bajan beauty, Breezy explained, "I'm always gonna love that person. I can't be focused on wife-ing someone that young. I need to be the best Chris Brown I can be."

Translation: "We're not getting married anytime soon. You can stop worrying now, dad."

When his birthday did roll around this weekend, Tran was on hand to ring it in with Brown and his entourage (and everyone else who paid $100-$120 to get in), cozying up to the ‘Fine China’ singer at the Emerson Theatre on Friday night, May 3. But that doesn't mean she was thrilled to be there.

“She didn't look very happy,” a spy told Us Weekly. “He didn't appear to be paying much attention to her and was partying around a lot of girls.”

Perhaps finally wising up, Tran is said to have left a short while later. Only a few years too late.
