Aaron Rodgers isn’t hanging up his helmet just yet.
The NFL legend is heading to a new team, and the internet is already guessing, Googling, and gossiping. Things just got spicy.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Rodgers is reportedly signing a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“Aaron Rodgers plans to sign with the #Steelers, per The Insiders,” Rapoport posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, June 5.
He added, “At long last, the four-time MVP lands in his best spot.”

The move comes after a rocky run with the New York Jets. Back in February, the team announced they were parting ways with the Super Bowl champ after just two seasons.
Head coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey said in a joint statement that they “shared that our intention was to move in a different direction at quarterback.”
They added, “It was important to have this discussion now to provide clarity and enable each of us the proper time to plan for our respective futures.”

Rodgers was traded to the Jets from the Green Bay Packers in April 2023, but his time in New York was cut short—literally.
He tore his Achilles tendon just minutes into his first game, sidelining him for the entire season.
Now, with a fresh start and a brand-new jersey, Rodgers seems ready to rewrite the narrative.
