Michelle Trachtenberg Harriet the Spy

If you were a kid in the ’90s, you were undoubtedly inspired by the detective work of mini-investigator ‘Harriet the Spy,’ brought to life on the big screen by Nickelodeon star Michelle Trachtenberg. But what’s she been up to since she grew up?

Michelle Trachtenberg played the title role in ‘Harriet the Spy,’ about a little girl who uses her journal and novice detective skills to try and solve crimes. The film was developed by Nickelodeon, a network for which Trachtenberg frequently guest-starred on shows like ‘All That’ and ‘The Adventures of Pete and Pete.’

Trachtenberg went on to star as Dawn, little sister of Buffy Summers in ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ (she’d previously worked with ‘Buffy’ star Sarah Michelle Gellar on the daytime soap ‘All My Children’). In recent years she’s starred in ‘Cop Out’ and ‘Take Me Home Tonight,’ and made guest appearances on TV shows like ‘Weeds’ and ‘Criminal Minds.’
