Jonathan Taylor Thomas -- you know him best by his nickname, JTT -- was such a cute little child actor and a teen magazine favorite, but where has he been in recent years?

Jonathan forever holds a special place in our hearts. As the middle child on 'Home Improvement,' he was the goofy, mischievous troublemaker who bridged the gap between his jock-ish big brother and his weird, introverted little brother.

JTT was also the voice of little Simba in 'The Lion King,' and starred with comedy legend Chevy Chase in 'Man of the House.' AND he starred in 'Tom and Huck,' a retelling of Mark Twain's classic Tom Sawyer story, with the dearly departed Brad Renfro -- another one of our favorite tween poster boys.

Thomas mostly disappeared from acting in 1999 to pursue education -- he has degrees from Chaminade College Preparatory school in West Hills, Calif. and Columbia University, and he even attended Harvard.

He's shown up on TV shows like 'Veronica Mars' and 'Smallville,' and recently guest-starred alongside his 'Home Improvement' dad Tim Allen on 'Last Man Standing.' Judging by this photo from Entertainment Weekly, JTT is even cuter now than we even imagined he'd be at this age.
