When we last saw Sally Struthers, it was in the form of a behemoth cartoon likeness created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker for ‘South Park.’ And while this image implies it would take gallons of vodka to intoxicate the much-ridiculed actress, apparently it took a lot less for her to be arrested for drunk driving.

Fat jokes aside, she's not that big -- she's just a plus-sized, washed-up former TV star who’s trying to earn a buck and enjoy life in Ogunquit, ME. And it was there that the 'All In the Family' actress enjoyed life in a bottle a bit too much, after which she unwisely got behind the wheel.

She was pulled over just after midnight on Thursday, hauled down to the police station, and had a photo taken by the boys in blue after being dinged with OUI (operating under the influence). Lucky for Struthers, an OUI is a misdemeanor, so she grabbed some change out of her Christian Children’s Fund jar, paid the $160 fine, and went on her merry way with a court date set for December.

Her rep said, “Sally is working and she is fine and she loves the Ogunquit Playhouse and her yearly time in Ogunquit. We deny these charges.” (There was no mention of a love of bourbon, but perhaps that is implied.)

Sally, remember when you were winning Emmys and not getting arrested for driving drunk in teeny Northeast towns while doing local theater? Those were the days.
