There are many thing wrong with Hayden Panettiere's tattoo, including its awkward positioning and the fact that it's misspelled. So yeah, we're hitting pretty much all the cardinal tat sins here.

The tattoo reads “Vivere senza rimipianti,” which is supposed to be Italian for "live without regrets" -- but "rimipianti" should be spelled "rimpianti."

If only the misspelled word meant "irony" in Italian, this would be perfect.

Regardless, Hayden's taking the motto of her ink to heart and doesn't regret a thing. We just hope she's learned a valuable lesson about getting tattoos in foreign languages she doesn't understand.

Take note, everyone with Chinese characters: Your "hope" or "faith" or "love" is probably the character for "boob." And a tattoo artist is still somewhere laughing at you.
