Then Janet Jackson took the big hair and made it bigger and better. Hers was big '80s hair on steroids, with a fluffier perm and taller bangs.

We tried as hard to get her hair as we did to get her moves. We teased our bangs like they were awkward freshmen and sprayed Aqua Net like the ozone was our enemy.
