Trial Begins for Gas Station Employee Who Beat Customer With Baseball Bat
In 2024, you can get everything from brisket to sushi at a gas station. Gone are the days of being limited to hot dogs and nachos, but sometimes, those delicacies still hit the spot.
But for one nacho lover, his desire for more cheese ended very badly, when a gas station employee beat him with a baseball bat.
Myron Bullie, has fitting last name for what he did. The 47-year-old was arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly beating a customer with a bat for taking holding down the button on the nacho cheese dispenser inside of his store, taking too much cheese.
Officers found the victim outside, laying near the sidewalk with his face covered in blood. The man said he couldn't tell what happened to him and was rushed to the hospital.
Staff members later told LVMPD the man was suffering from two different brain bleeds, multiple skull fractures and multiple facial bone fractures. His injuries were considered life-threatening at the time the report was written.
The victim was found near a gas pump by a customer pumping gas. The customer ran inside the store and urged the clerk to call 911, but that man — Bullie — responded differently than expected.
Bullie allegedly told the good samaritan, "I'm not going to call 911 — he better have learned a lesson."
Records indicate that Bullie is being held on $10,000 bail. His trial is set for Monday, Sept. 23, in Las Vegas.
