In the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings, Beantown native Mark Wahlberg now says he'd be wiling to reform his '90s group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch to raise money for the victims.
Before Mark Wahlberg became a Serious Actor, he was known for wearing tighty whities on Calvin Klein billboards and for being the frontman of the '90s hip-hop group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. After two albums and several hits (most notably 'Good Vibrations'), the band broke up in 1993 -- and Wahlberg hasn't much wanted to acknowledge that part of his professional history since.
But with New Kids on the Block, the Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees leading the way for defunct boy band comebacks, Wahlberg has begun to consider a reunion with his own Funky Bunch.
Seems that Sean Combs -- or P. Diddy, assuming he hasn't changed it again as of this writing -- and the erstwhile Marky Mark, Mark Wahlberg, have struck up a bromance. Over water.
