Kevin Bacon's handsome face appears a tad skeletal these days, which is probably why he sometimes looks so similar to Red Skull, played by Hugo Weaving in the Marvel films. (We blame that awful 'Hollow Man' movie for putting these images in our heads.)
Back in 2002, Kevin Bacon did a spot with Visa to prove how difficult it is to pay with a check, asking us to suspend our disbelief that he would actually pay for anything that way. In the commercial, Bacon uses his patented six degrees of separation to prove his identity to a nonplussed bookstore attendant -- with highly amusing results.
When ignorant and outspoken lawmakers start referring to women as "farm animals" and say that issues of contraception would be solved if ladies would just stop having the sex, it’s time for Hollywood to get involved.
Because in Hollywood, you may be allowed to objectify women, but you aren’t allowed to take away their reproductive freedom. And all the degrees of Kevin Bacon know it.
