With Jimmy Fallon leaving 'Late Night' to take over the 'Tonight Show' from Jay Leno, someone had to take over Fallon's soon-to-be vacant timeslot -- and that person has finally been confirmed as Seth Meyers.

TIME Magazine has unveiled its annual Most Influential People list, which is comprised of five separate categories: Artists, Leaders, Pioneers, Titans and Icons.
While the list itself isn't surprising -- media mainstays like Jennifer Lawrence, Jay-Z, Lena Dunham and Frank Ocean all landed spots -- what was intriguing is what other notable people wrote about them.
Conan O'Brien may have had a few brief moments (okay, a year) as 'Tonight Show' host before the role was taken back from him by the so-called retired Jay Leno, but that didn't stop him from being happy for fellow late-nighter Jimmy Fallon, who was announced as Leno's replacement yesterday (April 3).
This of course was not the case on 'Chelsea Lately,' where he and Chelsea Handler get in a naked shower fight over the fact that she's in his old studio. So much for letting fake bygones be fake bygones.
You've heard the rumors that Jimmy Fallon would take up the mantle of 'Tonight' from Jay Leno when he retired -- the pair even notably addressed them through song.
And today, April 3, NBC officially announced it'll actually happen.
'Tonight Show' host Jay Leno joined forces with his possible replacement -- 'Late Night' host Jimmy Fallon -- for a parody of 'Tonight' from 'West Side Story.'
Ice-T appeared on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' to talk about all the most important things in life: New York Mayor Bloomberg's ban on oversized soda, Dennis Rodman visiting North Korea, the television show 'Splash,' and of course the Harlem Shake.
Someone please give this man a YouTube series where he just answers viewer questions once a week.
Ice, what are your thoughts on the meaning of life? Ice, what is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow? Ice, when are you going to make your own brand of iced tea?
The guys who are hot and make us laugh are definitely the best, and Jimmy Fallon gives us the giggles every night of the week on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.'
With Jimmy Fallon allegedly taking over the 'Tonight Show' from Jay Leno -- who might actually retire this time for realsies -- that leaves Fallon's 'Late Night' seat available.
Rumors about an impending late-night shakeup have come to a head, proving that internet rumors are always true (they're not always true).
Reports that NBC is not only giving the imitable Jimmy Fallon a turn at the 'Tonight Show' helm, but also moving the program back to its old stomping grounds -- New York City -- have all but been confirmed by top executives.
