The fact that Neil Patrick Harris and longtime partner David Burtka want to get married is reason enough to support the Supreme Court's Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) ruling. And according to the pair, who have twins via surrogate, it's only a matter of time before they stroll down the aisle together.

"Certainly, we have children and marriage is an appropriate thing to do [as] a part of their well being, so I'm sure it will be inevitable -- and awesome!" Harris told E! News.

"It's exciting," Harris gushed of the DOMA ruling, though he wasn't as outwardly elated as the rest of the world.

"I figured it was an inevitability," he explained. "I'm not one who jumps around and cheers and screams because I thought that was inevitable and was going to happen. It's logical. If you look at public opinion polls, everyone, the majority of people, are very for people that fall in love with each other being able to own that."

So what's the hold up now, bro?

"We're about to move to New York so it's a tricky situation," Harris explained of his and Burtka's wedding plans. "I don't know if it would be an east coast or west coast thing."

Regardless, it's going to be an awesome thing. We'll be waiting by the mailbox for our invitations.
