Naomi Watts Says Plastic Surgery Would Ruin Her Career, But It’s Cool If You’re Into It
Naomi Watts is pretty stunning for 44 -- or any age, for that matter -- but she insists she hasn't gone under the knife nor the needle to stay that way, because if she did, she wouldn't be able to move her face.
Which is, you know, a pretty important thing to be able to do as an actress.
Did we mention she's BFFs with known Botox-aficionado Nicole Kidman? Because she is, and she's channeling a parasol with all this shade.
"Never say never -- and I certainly don't judge anyone who does it," she told Australia's Good Health magazine (via ContactMusic), covering her bases. "But most of the characters I play are going through some kind of emotional turmoil, so my job requires me to have expression."
"If my face was froze, what right do I have to play that part?"
She added, "All the women who haven't done anything to their faces are still able to play great roles. And some of the ones who have done something have messed it up -- they look freakish."
That had to hurt more than a scalpel. We're guessing the next lunch with her bestie is gonna be pretty interesting.
